🌱 Healthy Bodies, Happy Minds

"A healthy child isn't just about height and weight; it's about bright eyes, endless energy, and a curious mind."

"Education is not a race for marks. It is a journey of self-discovery. Don't ask your child 'How many marks did you get today?'. Instead, ask them..."
"Did you help someone today? Did you ask a good question?"
✅ Power Foods (Give This)

Home-made food is the best medicine.

  • Rainbow Plate: Use colorful veggies (Carrots, Spinach, Beetroot) in parathas or idlis.
  • Brain Nuts: Soaked Almonds (Badam) and Walnuts (Akhrot) every morning for memory.
  • Calcium Kick: Milk, Curd, or Paneer daily for strong bones.
  • Natural Sugar: Dates (Khajoor) and Jaggery (Gud) instead of white sugar.
❌ Danger Zone (Avoid This)

These items harm focus and immunity.

  • Packet Food: Chips and Kurkure contain preservatives that make kids lazy and irritable.
  • Sugary Drinks: Soda and packed juices have too much sugar, leading to hyperactivity.
  • Screen Time Eating: Never let them watch Mobile/TV while eating. They overeat and don't chew properly.
  • Late Night Meals: Dinner should be at least 2 hours before sleep.

🌟 Beyond The Report Card

At Little Star, we focus on skills that last a lifetime.

👐
Fine Motor Skills
Encourage them to eat with their own hands. Buttoning shirts, tying laces, and kneading dough improves handwriting and focus.
🤝
Social Habits
Teach them to share their tiffin. Saying "Please" and "Thank You" to helpers and cleaners builds character, not just manners.
🧠
Curiosity over Rote
Don't pressure them for 100/100. If they break a toy to see what's inside, celebrate their curiosity. That's an engineer in making!
